Tip: Shoot with the sun behind you
The optimal way to shoot for normal photography shots is to make sure that the sun is behind you. This will provide natural lighting for your subject without causing glare or washing them out.
Tip: Shoot with the sun to the side of your subject
Another option is to shoot with the sun to the side of your subject. This will create a warmer glow that is ideal for many types of photo shoots and photography work and is a great option if you need a warmer cast but don’t have the right equipment.
Tip: Shoot into the sun for a silhouette effect
If you’d like to create a unique silhouette effect, try shooting your photos into the sun with your subject in between the sun and your camera lens. This is perfect for taking artistic photos that are sure to please your clients.
