#1. Determine Where To Set Your Flash

When snapping in a place with aggressive sunshine or too dark, the first thing to do is to determine where to set the flash. Once you set the flash properly, you will be able to snap amazing photographs without interruption. So, get to the venue on time, set your flash towards the direction when you can access natural light without.

#2. Be closer To the Source Of the light

It may interest you to know that the closer the light source, the softer the light itself. So, it is advisable to be closer to the light source so as to get a softer light for your photoshoot. This will definitely lessen shadows, reduces contrast, suppresses texture, and more importantly give more illumination to the scene.

#3. Reduce the Shutter Speed When the Area Is Dark

When the environment you are taking your shot is dark, you have to allow more light in and decrease the shutter speed of your camera. With this, you can take long exposure shots and produce a nice photograph.
